On Saturday, July 13th the Kelley Farm, MN State Grange and the Friends of the Kelley farm will host Grangers across the nation as the National Grange Youth perform the “Exemplification of the 1873 Degrees,” a historical reenactment of the first four Degrees of the Grange. Cast members will be in period dress.
The presentations are open to the public and will be held on the prairie at the Kelley farm beginning at 10:00 am, ending at 5:00 pm.
Come and see the history of the grange as it was when Oliver Kelley and six other people founded it in 1867. Bring a picnic lunch or visit the food vendors and plan to stay the entire day!
The Kelley Farm will also play host to the Midwest Regional Youth Conference that weekend, July 12-14, 2013.
